Really restaurants with rooms, the Kitchen Gardens, are at the heart of what they do.
The Pig Hotel is one of our favourite hotels. It’s not just the stunning scenery and the location, it’s the charm that makes this hotel so outstanding. We stayed in room nr. 14 with a free-standing tub and views of the garden and the sea. Every detail in the hotel is well designed so that you feel as if you were at home… it was love at first sight.
Make sure to book a table for dinner, then the place gets very busy.

The rooms mix a touch of luxury with bundles of homely charm. Some rooms have stunning sea views, others look out over the surrounding countryside.

With a serious commitment to the local community and surrounding area THE PIG-on the beach celebrates Dorset! The menus are written around what is available in the walled Kitchen Garden or delivered to the door from the local suppliers – creating our 25-mile menu. The menus will change by the minute, depending on what the Forager supplies and what the Kitchen Garden team deems to be in perfect condition.
It is a very remote Hotel and you need a car.
