The best mince meat for mince pies
Ingredients
- 150 g dried figs
- 1 apple e.g. cox orange
- 2 clementines
- 1 tsp finely chopped rosemary
- 100 g dried cranberries
- 100 g dried cassis berries or blueberries
- 6 tbsp agave syrup
- 1/2 tsp ground gloves
- 1 tsp ground allspice
- 2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 tbsp brandy
Instructions
- Chop the dried figs Grate the apple coarsely
- Grate the zest of the Clementine’s and juice them afterwards
- Place everything in a bowl and mix well
- Spoon the mixture in to sterilised jars, close the lid tightly and leave to rest for at least 3 weeks
Notes
You can store the mixture for up to about 3 months in a cool place.
After 3 weeks, the Mincemeat is ready to make mince pies. Enjoy!
