Mincemeat

The best mince meat for mince pies
Servings 4 jars

Ingredients
  

  • 150 g dried figs
  • 1 apple e.g. cox orange
  • 2 clementines
  • 1 tsp finely chopped rosemary
  • 100 g dried cranberries
  • 100 g dried cassis berries or blueberries
  • 6 tbsp agave syrup
  • 1/2 tsp ground gloves
  • 1 tsp ground allspice
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp brandy

Instructions
 

  • Chop the dried figs Grate the apple coarsely
  • Grate the zest of the Clementine's and juice them afterwards
  • Place everything in a bowl and mix well
  • Spoon the mixture in to sterilised jars, close the lid tightly and leave to rest for at least 3 weeks

Notes

You can store the mixture for up to  about 3 months in a cool place.
After 3 weeks, the Mincemeat is ready to make mince pies. Enjoy!
