Monachyle Mhor is a boutique lochside hotel at the foot of stunning Scottish mountains.
A cool and sophisticated place to stay, an award-winning restaurant, a restorative location, and mhor besides.
One of our favorite hotels in Europe… maybe even in the world.
The drive to the hotel is spectacular. In the winter, we would recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle. Once you have arrived, you feel as if you are visiting friends at a cosy farm.

We liked the farm atmosphere, a farm that has been transformed into a very cosy hotel and restaurant. The rooms are only a few steps away from the main farmhouse where food is served the whole day.
Excellent cuisine, fine dining and snacks at the bar. Fantastic cooked breakfasts.
Separate seating area with antique style sofa and wooden furniture and gas stove.
Very friendly staff, familiar atmosphere with the owner always around for a chat and a laugh.
Not much space for clothes and luggage.
