Chabran: 4 stars hotel in Drôme, in Pont-de-L’Isère, Hotel Chabran is the ideal place to rest, to prolong a gastronomic moment at the starred restaurant La Grande Table, to enjoy a few days of holidays in a bucolic and refined setting… A Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant that will tingle your taste buds.
Michel Chabran, who came to the world in Tournon, where the poet Mallarmé taught English, is a chef who belongs to a generation that likes to harmonize tradition and modernity, drawing generously on the riches of its land, to which he will remain faithful for the rest of his life. Thus its garden is there, at the confluence of the Rhône and the Isère, under an ideal temperate climate, in Pont-de-l’Isère on the RN7.
Whether in the large room with its sober and refined decoration, in the lounge overlooking the winter garden or in the bright veranda, the gastronomic restaurant La Grande Table, not far from Valence, cultivates a refined and warm contemporary atmosphere. In winter, you feel good, comfortably seated around tables nicely set, while the two fireplaces (one in each room) spread the heat of their fire.
As a case, warm colours, intimate lighting and a few more contemporary notes through Bernard Cathelin’s canvases and lamps with Japanese lines. From the beautiful days until autumn, the terrace and garden welcome you in a more bucolic spirit. The dishes then take on the flavour of the sun, the scent of nature.
A wonderful restaurant with rooms
